Vitiligo may be accompanied by genetic factors and autoimmune disorders.

For this reason it is important to perform some blood tests before starting treatment.

The tests requested are:

FULL BLOOD COUNT - with differential

• TSH, FT3, FT4

AUTO-ANTIBODIES

• anti-nuclear
• anti-native DNA
• anti-ENA
• anti-smooth muscle
• anti-thyroid (TG - TPO)
• anti-endomysium
• anti-transglutaminase
• anti-gliadin
• anti-gastric parietal cell
